Female nudes in museums. Do women have to be naked to get in to the Met. Museum? Less than 5% of the artists in the modern art sections are women, but 85% of the nudes are female. This picture says it all.

This week, I got exclusive tickets to the Vermeer Exhibition in the Rijks Museum. I noticed that Johannes Vermeer did not include a whole lot of female nudes in his work. He comes across as feminist indeed, more than many of his colleagues of his time.
