Within their role, these integrity officers will ensure and encourage safe and ethical sport within both top and recreational sport. Sports associations will be able to fulfill their role in incidents optimally. The preventive policy will also receive a strong impulse. The integrity managers will develop and initiate prevention for sports associations, top athletes, and the work organization of the sports association itself.
The main challenge in the coming period will be to look for synergy between existing and new measures, to make everything function as effectively as possible. The new integrity managers will help to develop an action plan based on a guide, which contains the building blocks to build a good plan.
