Police report against Dutch livestock collection points

The Integrity Talks

Two police reports have been filed against Dutch livestock collection points because the abuses are not the exception, but the rule, according to eyewitnesses who reported to the animal welfare organization House of Animals. Dutch research group Ongehoord published the images that show enough, including mother cows that could no longer walk, were sick, lame, or terrified. Even calves of barely two weeks old were not treated gently. They were beaten, kicked, and driven up with sticks and tasers.

It is beyond shocking to see that the routines in the Netherlands regarding animal transport and the supervision of animal welfare are still brutal in this day and age. Animals are being treated as assets without souls, and as if being robots. Only commercial interests are what they are about. Horrific. May this stop as soon as possible.
