The Integrity Talks

Writing history. HERstory instead of HIStory

The Integrity Talks

Writing history. HERstory instead of HIStory to be precise. Nella van den Brandt does qualitative research speaking with sixty women who left religion and closed-up communities in the Netherlands and in the UK. This aligns with my own research, so we are joining forces. Even though the research is qualitative indeed, the conclusions will be presented on the back of a variety of lives indeed. It means that we can take the findings seriously, while separating the wheat from the chaff ‘out there’.

Nella van den Brandt works for the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations, at the Coventry University. The institution will undergo a change, and will move forward as the Institute for Peace and Security. Their work is outstanding, as the information on their platform and the credentials via other scientific channels will show.

This research is not self-funded either, nor put together through personal connections for self-profiling purposes only. It is substantial, as it is funded by the EU, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship to be precise, and it has different higher purposes, including HERstorical value.
